The
Campbell County Healthcare Foundation began with big
dreams and a vision for the people of Gillette in 1975.
A group of community leaders came together to discuss
funding the education of young people interested in
healthcare. From those discussions, the Campbell County
Healthcare Foundation was born.
Over the years, many volunteers have shared a common
goal and spirited dedication. Their efforts have been
invaluable. The Foundation has distributed over
$2,000,000 in scholarships and grants to people and
projects throughout the county. For instance, the
Foundation’s first capital campaign funded equipment
for the
Cancer
Center
at
Campbell
County
Memorial
Hospital
which has positively impacted the lives of so many.
Today, the future plans are just as lofty, and our
commitment to helping our community provide superior
healthcare for our growing population is as important as
it was thirty plus years ago.
The
Campbell County Healthcare Foundation serves as the
umbrella organization for five separate programs and
boards.
Scholarships,
Neighbors of the Manor, Festival of Trees, Sports
Screening Program, and Hospice.
