BLS for Healthcare Providers Initial CPR

Target: For healthcare providers such as EMS personnel, physician assistants, doctors, dentists, nurses, and respiratory therapists who must have a credential (card) documenting successful completion of a CPR course.

Description: The BLS for Healthcare Providers Course covers core material such as adult and pediatric CPR (including two-rescuer scenarios and use of the bag mask), foreign-body airway obstruction, and automated external defibrillation.

BLS for Healthcare Providers Recertification

Target: For healthcare providers such as EMS personnel, physician assistants, doctors, dentists, nurses and respiratory therapists who must have a credential (card) documenting successful completion of a CPR course.

Successful Sitters

Target: Boys and girls, ages 12-16, who are currently babysitting or interested in becoming babysitters.

Description: This course is designed to help 12-16 year-olds become more effective babysitters. Spend one day learning the basics on infant care, infection control, nutrition, safety and first aid. Friends and Family CPR will be included in the course. Please wear long pants and bring a sweater or jacket.

Heartsaver AED

Target: For those who have a duty to respond to a caridac emergency becuase of job responsiblities or regulatory requirements.

Description: The Heartsaver AED Course teaches CPR, relief of choking and use of barrier devices for all ages. It also teaches AED use in adults and children.

Heartsaver First Aid

Target: For those who have a duty to respond to a first aid or cardiac emergency because of job responsibilities or regulatory requirements. Meets OSHA and MSHA regulations.

Description: The Heartsaver First Aid Course teaches how to manage illness and injuries in the first few minutes until professional help arrives. Course content includes General Principles, Medical Emergencies, CPR, AED, Environmental Emergencies and Injury Emergencies. Primarily focused on the adult victim.

Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid

Target: For those involved in child care who have a duty to respond to a first aid emergency because of job responsiblities or regulatory requirements, such as child care workers, teachers, foster care workers, camp counselors, youth organizations, and coaches for childre's sports organizations.

Description: The Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid Course teaches how to manage illness and injuries in a child in the first few minutes until professional help arrives. Topics include First Aid Basics, Medical Emergencies, Injury Emergencies, Environmental Emergencies, CPR and AED.
