VISION STATEMENT
Nutrition Services will enhance the dining experience of residents to encourage nutritional intake,
independence, social interactions, and family participation. Dining programs will continue to be developed based on the needs of the residents to allow them more freedom to choose what they would like to eat for meals and snacks.
Dining Rooms
Pioneer Manor has three dining rooms. The main dining room is located in the main lobby. Neighborhood 5 dining room is located at the end of Neighborhood 4, and the Memory Support Unit (MSU) dining room is located at the end of Neighborhood 2.
The main dining room is served directly from the kitchen. The Neighborhood 5 dining room is served via transportation carts which will maintain appropriate food temperatures until food is dished. A transport cart filled with the meal trays is taken to the Memory Support Unit (MSU) dining room. Residents in the dining rooms are served by Nutrition Services and nursing staff.
