The Diabetes Center at Campbell County Memorial Hospital helps people live well with diabetes throughout the lifespan, and helps healthcare professionals manage diabetes care.
The Diabetes Center strives to reduce the impact of diabetes in the daily lives of people with diabetes and minimize the costs associated with the care of the disease by promoting self-care.
Alicia LePard, RN, MSN, CDE, BC-ADM is certified as a clinical specialist in Advanced Diabetes Management. She specializes in the management of acute care and diabetes, children with diabetes and insulin pump therapy
Kim Handley, RD, CDE specializes in nutritional management of diabetes. She also sees individuals with pre-diabetes and polycystic ovarian syndrome to help them prevent type 2 diabetes.
The Diabetes Center is certified by the American Diabetes Association as a recognized education program.
Charge for services
Most services to patients with diabetes are covered under Medicare, Medicaid and most commercial insurance companies with a physician referral.
- Fee is $65.10 per half hour visit
Campbell County Memorial Hospital's Diabetes Center has been a leader in Wyoming for diabetes care since 2000. Our staff has contributed to the State of Wyoming Diabetes guidelines, frequently lectures nationwide on diabetes care topics and strives to provide the latest in technology to care for patients with diabetes.
