Children's Summer Program
About the Program
The Day Treatment Program provides individual and group counseling experiences for children and families in need. Activities are utilized to instill positive choices for the wise use of leisure time.
Professional staff work with children and families topromote positive changes through structured activities with consistent and coordinated support taking place in many settings including home and school.
The program is designed to develop and encourage:
- Taking Responsibility
- Social Skills
- Organizational Skills
- Academic Achievement Behaviors
- Cooperative Skills
- Conflict Resolution Skills
- Self-concept & Self-esteem
- Cultural Diversity Education
- Substance Abuse Education
A final report of the child's progress will be written after the program is completed and is provided to the parents and the child's teacher.

Cost
All services are on a Sliding Fee Scale which is based off GROSS HOUSEHOLD INCOME.
Title 19/medicaid covers 100% of all charges. All other
insurances are subject to
deductible, co-pays and
coverage.
There are a limited number of scholarships available.
Dates
Monday through Thursday
9:00 am-3:00 pm
Attendance
Regular attendance in the program and parent's group is very important to achieve
maximum benefits for the child and the family. (The parent's group is offered at no
additional cost.)

Transportation
Every child must fill out a transportation form. Parents will be advised of the routes prior to the start of the
program.
Lunch
Lunches are to be sent with the child. It is recommended that the child makes & packs their own lunch. Please make sure that it is a balanced lunch. Please keep in mind there is no refrigerator or microwave
available.
