NHCA Announces the 2011 Board Election Results
GILLETTE, WY – The National Hearing Conservation Association has announced its 2011 Board Election Results, and Campbell County Memorial Hospital’s Kathryn Schmidt-Miller was elected Secretary/Treasurer. Schmidt-Miller is a Board Certified Audiologist and has worked for CCMH the past three years at Sagebrush ENT and Wellness/HealthWorks.
“NHCA has allowed me the opportunity to work with world leaders in hearing conservation.” Said Schmidt-Miller, “I feel privileged to serve as Secretary/Treasurer.”
Schmidt-Miller is committed to prevention of hearing loss through education. She has been a member of NHCA since 2001 and has previously served on the Executive Council as a Member Delegate. Kathy is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and the Wyoming Speech and Hearing Association.
NHCA was formed in June of 1976; its members reflect the cross-functional nature of hearing conservation, with expertise in various areas. The mission of the NHCA is to prevent hearing loss due to noise and other environmental factors in all sectors of society.
