Description
Works under the supervision of the Ambulatory Clinics Administrator and directs the activities and functions of the Ambulatory Clinic. This includes the daily supervision of staff, monitoring performance and developing their skills required to ensure compliance with hospital and clinic policies. Responsible for the training and educating of staff which is essential to the success of the Clinic. Develop and implement policies and procedures. Excellent communication, critical thinking, problem solving and having a creative approach are all qualities required for the success in this position.
Qualifications
High school graduate required. Higher level education preferred with emphasis in business administration classes and computers, minimum of two years experience in medical, hospital or clinics. Three to five years of experience in supervision preferred. Experienced in electronic medical records and/or practice management systems preferred. Medical terminology preferred.
