Description

Performs all duties required to support and coordinate clinic functions efficiently to meet and/or exceed customer expectations. Responsible for compiling patient's medical record, coordinating patient's tests and procedures with multiple internal and external sources, and collecting data and preparing clinic reports. Completes parient charges and assists clinic billing staff as needed. Maintains par level of patient and departmental supplies, and serves as a resource for patient information to providers and nursing staff. Acts as a key player in establishing the clinic's atmosphere of customer service and fulfilling CCMH mission, vision, and values.



Qualifications

High school graduate or GED; Course completion in medical terminology or unit secretary training program preferred. Preferred 1 year experience in compiling/maintaining patient records and processing insurance payments/accounts receivable in the clinic setting. Must be familiar with Microsoft Office products and possess general comfort level learning and using computer software.
