Paid Time Off (PTO)
What is Paid Time Off?
Paid Time Off (PTO), is the paid time that you can take for vacations, personal days, holidays, and short illnesses.
When can I start using my Paid Time Off?
You can begin using your PTO upon hire provided you have accrued enough PTO hours to cover the time you will be away from work.
What is the accrual rate for PTO and is there a Maximum?
PTO hours are accrued based on the length of service and the number of hours paid each pay period.
There is a maximum limit (as shown in the following chart) and no more time will be accrued until some of the PTO is used.
