The Medical/Surgical Unit provides care for patients of all ages. Patient care areas are located on the north and south wings of the fourth floor.
Staff holds a variety of nursing degrees (from Associate Degree to Master's prepared nurses) and certifications. Two nurses are certified in Wound Care, and other certifications include Medical-Surgical, ENPC, ACLS, Chemotherapy, PALS and TNCC.
Quality
The Medical/Surgical unit evaluates the quality of departmental processes through observations, peer accountability and chart reviews.
