Governance:
Provide resources, training and support for the CCMH Board of Trustees to excel in their responsibilities of governance and stewardship.
Strategies
- Improve board relationships with CCMH medical staff.
- Attain basic knowledge of medical staff credentialing process to help ensure quality medial staff are recruited and retained.
- Develop and/or review Board Policies regarding the board's and leadership's role with mission, governance and operations.
- Ensure organizational chart reflects appropriate reporting relationships with medical staff and board.
- Review and revise board bylaws to incorporate changing regulations and better coordinate with revised medical staff bylaws.
